Jalapeño Popper Bites Keto, Paleo, MMT, gluten-free
Appetizers, there are so many choices, but here is a new twist on the beloved jalapeño popper. Everyone I know loves bacon wrapped jalapeños or jalapeño popper s and they are awesome, I just think they take too much time and mess. So I used my silicone cake pops pan and it worked great to make these cute little snacks. Great when you are waiting for your summer barbecue to get done and need something to snack on. Also, great for holidays to keep guests from starving while you are finishing up your huge meal 🙂 So get your ingredients and whip up your first of many batches of jalapeño popper s!! Slightly spicy. If doing food combining, just skip the bacon and add smoked paprika to the top of the cream cheese. You can check how much protein your body needs daily using the protein calculator here.

Jalapeño Popper Bites
Ingredients
- 12 strips bacon turkey or pork, natural, no nitrates
- 6 each jalapeños
- 1/2 block cream cheese organic
Instructions
- Wash jalapeños, cut off stem end, cut lengthwise, remove seeds and ribs, cut into 1 inch pieces. Cut bacon slices into 2" pieces and as doing so, place into cake pop hollow, place a piece of jalapeño on top of the bacon and use a butter knife to spread approximately a heaping teaspoon of cream cheese into/on top of the jalapeño. Half of your popper pan has holes in the bottom so place that one on a cookie sheet or other pan to catch the grease. Airfry at 370 degrees for approximately 12 minutes one pan at a time. Using conventional oven bake at 375 degrees for approximately 20 minutes. Cream cheese will be browned. Jalapeños will have a little crunch yet. They will disappear fast.
